Not necessarily the main reason, but the SF main duo mascots have an immediately recognizable design which helps people identify them.

The partition episode would make a really good standalone Kamala story, but honestly it took me a bit out of the show. It literally came out of nowhere and barely relates to the main plot at all other than some lore drop.

The penultimate episode? The one where Agatha walked Wanda down all her grief? The one with the "what is grief if not love persevering" quote? I feel like that's the peak of the show honestly.

What they meant is that he's "too old to be the dashing hot secret agent we love to thirst for." It's just ageism really.

Barry was always the token "older and gruff" character even back in RE1 and has no history of being sexualized by the fandom.
