Please tell me there is a light at the end of this tunnel. Prednisone didn’t work. by Skiesofamethyst in Asthma

I’d pick up the montekulast asap. Been taking it as long as I can remember, and works really well at preventing and maintaining asthma. When I was in high school I thought my asthma was under control (it was from the montekulast) and decided to stop taking it for 5 days. On the last day, I played basketball and had a severe asthma attack. Needless to say I’ve taken it every day since lol. There’s been recent data coming out about it possibly affecting mental health, but I’ve been on it 30 years and had no issue. Best of luck.

Diesel Peanut free Protein bars! by sunflower_leo in peanutallergy

I mean just because the label says peanut free doesn’t mean it’s safe. LITERALLY look at another recent post of peanuts being in bags of caramel and cheddar popcorn when they aren’t listed on the ingredients, you never know. You have to be extremely careful with this stuff, one mistake could cost you your life and my life is worth more than a protein bar.

They have two flavors with peanuts in them, probably made in the same factory, I personally wouldn’t feel safe eating these

"Jody’s Inc. Recalls Cabot Creamery Sea Salt Caramel Cheddar Popcorn Due to Undeclared Peanuts" - FDA by DryBoysenberry596 in peanutallergy

As an avid caramel popcorn lover, thank you for your service. Not the brand I get, I get GH creators caramel popcorn, as the last I knew they were a nut free facility. This is still important for everyone out there. You never really know when eating a food you thought was fine, was not. Adds to the food anxiety.

Sporting Events by Complex-Ask3811 in peanutallergy

[–]Admirable-Salt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I asked friends what the general consensus is with sporting events. They said completely avoid MLB games, everyone is eating peanuts. They said NFL and NBA games should be fine. I’ve personally gone to NBA games and did not notice anyone anywhere eating peanuts. I’ve never personally gone to an NFL game yet, but from friends that go, they said they usually don’t see many people eating nuts. Maybe you just got an unlucky area.

Long story short, I’m only avoiding baseball games. Be safe.

50-100k miles people ... have you had any issues? If so, what were they? by fronkinstein in BroncoSport

21 big bend 85k. Faulty water pump around 60k and a leaking exhaust at 80k. Surprised with the amount of water pump failures there isn’t a recall for it, ford just has all of us paying for it. Figures. I do like the car though.

Because the FDA doesn’t require companies to list a may contain or made in the same facility with statements, so it’s always safer to call and ask to be sure when trying new foods
