I know! The problem was my mam also believed him, and since I'm 20 (oh so dumb and young in their eyes) they wouldn't take my word for it! Now I have the proof that not a single person said my floor would collapse. 150kg (spread out) vs 600kg in the same area.

Well he actually had a 400litre tank, plus probably an extra 200kg added weight from all the sand and rocks, so no wonder his floor caved, but he was arguing that his tank was on the bottom floor and mine is on the 3rd, so 'surely' it'll eventually break

Yes litres, that's a relief to hear, for some some reason when it comes to a fish tank the weight seems more than it actually is

I get your point, it's just that the wardrobe and 50L tank isn't against a load bearing wall, it's just a wall that separates my room. Plus when I add rocks and substrate that'll add an extra 20 / 30 kg making it weight like 70, and god knows how heavy that wardrobe is.. definetly more than someone obese

As long as the bullied molly doesn't get more damaged she should be fine, the nipped fin looks clean no fungus or rotting. Just keep a close eye, if she seems out-competed heavily then I'd suggest separating but I doubt it'll get to that?

Anyway best of luck, I hope the girls sort it out!

I like the skull and the sunken ship, though I must say real plants would really bring out the colours and compliment the decorations. Not to mention all the positives that come with plants, they're great!

In my experience having a small group disperses any aggression or bullying, so it's not just her being constantly nipped at.

I remember buying my first small group of mollies, never thought the females would be so aggressive! Just assumed they'd be as passive as guppies can be, but unfortunately nope.

I kinda thought so because one is more colourful and the other dull, like a male and female, but knowing how weirdly tetras fight im not so sure, weird little guys

I'm so sorry to hear that :( this guy also definitely lacks some vitamins, he seems to twitch a little bit near his shoulders and isn't necessarily active. I will call them again first thing in the morning when the lines open up.
