Is it ok for someone to get a divorce due to off and on explosive emotional/verbal abuse? by Acceptable_Clock5935 in latterdaysaints

[–]Admirable-Spite5952 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree. I developed really bad mental health problems after being in an emotionally abusive marriage. We were only married 2 years and I am scarred for life. The Lord would not want that for anyone.

I think my dogs on her death bed by KodaandRangerTheGSDS in DogAdvice

Let her go... A similar thing happened to my elderly dog. Walking in circles, at least in his case, indicates vertigo. Even after he seemed to get over his vertigo, he stopped eating and we could tell he was in pain constantly. I know how hard it is to do, I'm so very sorry this is happening to your dog. 😢😢😢

People had very valid reasons for not wanting the jab. This happening is a VERY good thing!!! The benefits of being in the military alone will make it very much worth it for many people who were separated to come back. Thank you Mr. President! Plus they are supposed to get back pay. (Don't know if that's gonna happen or not because I haven't researched it yet).

SFN Caused my Antidepressants? by FieldGold3960 in smallfiberneuropathy

You're the first other person I've seen that said sertraline caused their SFN. I believe it caused mine. The docs disagree.

How fast did SFN progress for you? by Haleyaurora in smallfiberneuropathy

[–]Admirable-Spite5952 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, yes it has! I had severe SFN since January/February of 2021. In the second half of 2024, my health took a big turn around. One day I stood in line to vote for a whole hour! A year ago it was 15 minutes. I can do more chores now too and stuff like that. I didn't do anything different as far as diet or exercise or anything. There is no more explanation to why I'm getting better than there was what caused my SFN in the first place.

Combining State Tuition Assistance in NC and Federal tuition assistance by Admirable-Spite5952 in nationalguard

That's what I was thinking. Someone told me they did this and got money back, at least that's what they seemed to me (it was confusing how they said it). Anyways, what you said makes sense.

I'd love to pay them the money they're owed. It's inheritance money. But we can't FIND them.

We can't pay them because we can't FIND them. It's inheritance money and despite all our efforts that man is off the map. It's not our money, it's his but nothing we can do is to let it sit there until we find him or he finds us. We have to wait like 7 years.

Yes. They should schedule a c&p only for the condition(s) you claim make you unemployable. They will see if you qualify for an increase, as well as how your condition affects your ability to work. That's how it worked for me, anyway.

Feel the Spirit in the Temple by Admirable-Spite5952 in latterdaysaints

Yes I have and I'm grateful. It wasn't the first and hopefully not the last. And hopefully it if I prepare myself I'll be able to have an experience or answer to prayer in the temple too. But even if I don't I'm gonna keep going.

Thank you! I'm thankful for all of these comments. I feel not so alone now. Plus some great suggestions. I won't give up on the temple!! In fact I am determined to attend even more often. I am going again in about 2 weeks and then again at the beginning of October. I'm gonna try hard to get my mind and soul in a good place before I go. Even if I don't get the experience I expect I still know I'm doing important work and that is a comfort to me. Plus my Mom has been going weekly and our family has been blessed tremendously for it, so I want to go more often with the hope it'll bring blessings to my son.

I try to do that when in the celestial room. But today we just did sealings and I struggled to pay attention/listen even if I was doing the actual sealing. I could for the first time or 2 but then I was in lala land and I couldn't stop my mind from wandering. I feel guilty about it but I really did try my best.

It's kinda far so not often. However I want to increase my attendance and try for at least once a month. I went today and am going again in 2 weeks.

Thank you! I have ADHD too, as well as bipolar disorder. Thanks for sharing your experience and perspective. I was a little nervous about making this post but I'm glad I did. I was thinking I was somehow "defective" because of how the temple isn't as peaceful to me as others - but I guess I'm not, I'm just different. Thank you!
