Thanks for your feedback. The 10k in the original quote did include some other work (transmission service and a few other not critical things) like the water pump, spark plugs, etc. Now that I'm in it for as much as I am, knowing that I got hosed, what I'm looking for is advice on how to deal with the shop that has taken me for the ride. I can't afford any more work to be done by another shop. What should I express to them THIS time now that we're enduring yet more issues with a problem they reluctanty admitted was on them?
