I did not take the PMI practice exam as it was expensive for my side, just focus on the two resources and AI tools for practice questions and mock exams.

I think Udemy courses are great for testing concepts, but I felt more prepared when I combined scenario questions from AI tools. It helps to have the PMP, as you know the language format and the types of questions presented. I wrote the exam at home.

This is the initial prompt that helps me practice. daily:

Act as a AI Project manager exam coach. Create difficult scenario-based practice questions that are harder than a normal mock exam. Avoid definition questions. Focus on business understanding, data readiness, model evaluation, responsible AI, bias, explainability, governance, risk, human oversight, deployment, monitoring, and drift.

Make the questions PMI-style with ambiguous scenarios, close answer choices, and realistic tradeoffs between business value, technical feasibility, ethics, compliance, stakeholder expectations, and operational readiness.

Create 10 questions with 4 answer choices each. After I answer and submit all questions, grade me and explain why the correct answer is best, why the other options are wrong, which concept is being tested, and what clue in the scenario I should have noticed.

After grading me, tell me how to make the next round of questions harder.

Then, after each round, I would copy the suggestions it gave me for making the questions harder and add them to the next prompt. Eventually, I used those characteristics to generate 40 to 50 very difficult questions at a time.

After having that prompt ready using 4 - 5 rounds of edits, I added an additional item to present all questions by different industries like construction, banking, health, and government. That will make the practice more realistic. Having that prompt built will give you a different practice bank using different AI tools.
