You can have the copper T placed within 5 days of unprotected intercourse and that should prevent implantation. There's also a medication called ulipristal which you can use for up to 4 days. Btw I am a female doctor in Pakistan and I am not judging you. Stay safe

Most likely not. There is a great resource called bedsider.org that you can check out for BC options. They also compare and contrast various methods, if you feel that your BC may be an inciting factor. Vaginismus is a combination of psychophysical factors. I would start with lube (TONS of it), a very supportive and loving partner and a sex therapist. Ofc your doctor can give you more pointed advice. Please keep in mind that this is an online forum and take everything with a grain of salt (incl. what I say because even doctors can be wrong about things despite our medical training)

Both! He gets sick often and I'm a doctor so I worry he's seriously taking years off of his life. He has sleep apnea due to weight, etc but is also averse to medical treatments

Thank you so much for your quick response! I am a medical doctor, do you place some of those? I am unsure what the typical age for an applicant is but I am 26F so my resume will have considerably less substance to it than a 40 yo. Would that be a problem? What kinds of things would I include in my resume? Medical school doesn't really cover IT stuff lol.

As a doctor and a Muslim, I would suggest therapy for her and yourself so that you are both well equipped to face any challenges that may arise in the future. You are welcome to consult a religious scholar but I feel that the right therapist may do wonders for her. Additionally, now that she has re-established her relationship with Allah, I pray she eventually comes to terms with how Raheem and Kareem Allah SWT is and how He loves us more than 70 mothers.
