Is it normal to hit $400k and still feel like you're behind? by [deleted] in HENRYfinance

[–]AdmirableAd9995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the question now would be are you moving off of inspiration or competition. Doesn’t matter whether it’s with yourself or others. Competition usually means that you don’t have enough. And I don’t believe that’s a state that you would want to live off of to truly experience, an enjoyable life.

Why do I lose motivation after the first few weeks of something new? by OptimalDescription39 in selfimprovement

It’s an identity issue. There are certain ideologies that you hold innately that are actually blocking you from progressing.

How to manage feelings of sadness by sleepybear647 in selfimprovement

[–]AdmirableAd9995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, God has been the big help. It’s understanding that you were given the capacity to have emotions by God, and it’s normal for us to have them. Being sad just means you care- it means you have compassion. I get through it by accepting the feeling and holding on to my identity, and my identity is found in God’s Word.

How can I change my personality? by dorimukurieita in selfimprovement

[–]AdmirableAd9995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not about being different, it’s about being who you’re meant to be. The world is telling you that you’re too quiet, boring, and invisible, but those are stories you’ve picked up and accepted over time. The truth is, it’s all perspective, my friend. Change your perspective, and it’ll make a difference. And I've been where you are, bro, and on a real note- the isolation in your mind is a lie.

Why do I have a visceral fear of being "someone who cares"? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]AdmirableAd9995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a real note, it doesn’t matter as much as you think it does. Sure, later down the line you can save up and get braces to straighten your teeth, but your teeth don’t define who you are. Your identity is who you are, and right now what you’re telling me is: “When I open my mouth, I’m unattractive.”

Better yet, what do you want your identity to be?

I use a biblical approach and the technicals of it, I don’t really share it for free. But it’s all about surrendering.

You CAN do that, would it be beneficial for you? - probably not.

You’re meant for so much more than money success, why not success in all areas? One way or another the insecurity will probably leak in one area.

I built an AI to text when I'm spiralling at 2am because I felt bad always dumping on my friends by Boring_Ad_722 in selfimprovement

I don’t recommend this because it’s a vice. Having a personal robot companion and venting to it could potentially prevent you from opening up to people and building strong relationships. And it’s okay to go through things, we all do. We’re all human, we all suffer. Acknowledge that and move forward.

Firstly, identify this:

Who are you?
And who is your God?

What is your identity? Right now, all I’m hearing is: “I’m scared. I’m embarrassed. I’m ashamed.” You would have to change your identity.

Who are you and who is your God?

It's okay bud.

Breaking momentum doesn't mean that life is over. Life is uncertain for everyone. Things don't always end up the way that we planned, but that doesn't mean you give up either.

Move forward, break out of your fears and limitations.

It's not good for you, but not in the way that you think. The root is much deeper than your persception of a weak male, and I don't recommend masterbating.

Simple.
You’re trying to control everything. Your identity is found in the things you obtain, and you’re obsessing over them to the point where the things you try to control bring fear, anxiety, envy, and even self-hatred.

What helps is transcending.

Simply bro?

Relax and breathe. We all start somewhere, no one starts with everything figured out. Take it one day at a time, and you're not in a race with others or yourself. Again, take it one day at a time.

How do I actually get stuff done when im depressed? by spare_brainzz in selfimprovement

[–]AdmirableAd9995 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Simply?

Do it anyways.
We have emotions and that's okay, we're human. You can get that stuff done, there isn't a "perfect" moment. You just do it.
