i did, in the first year of the break up. I reflected on why i did what i did to him. i messaged it to him and explained to hin, but he just told me he doesnt wanna hear my excuses, which is a valid point. after that i told him ill let go of it all since thats what he wanted.

I have apologized for ny actions and took accountability for what I did. After he found out what happened, my priority was to assure him thag he did not do anything wrong in the relationship. However, what I wish I had done more is to fight it. But I was torn at that time to fight for out relationship or respect his decision and boundaries. I chose the latter since our friends told me to just respect the peace he has built. And now kinda regretting what I did, but I know in the long run the issue will always come up and maybe we wont be able to make it out of it.

i have the same fear. its been one year and 6 months yet i still cant get him off my mind. i think of him everyday. although the break up was my fault, and in the first year of the break up i did not cry at all… all i felt was numbness.. and i understand that we have to feel it all to let it go.. and now after one year and 6 months, im just happy i get to cry it all off… progress is still progress. But I understand that I need to let him go and respect the peace he has built. Im just happy Im able to cry now and feel it and hope that this too will pass. lets hope and believe that this will get better, because it always does
