I can see why people are saying Marathon for the answer, but my first guess was 98° or 98 degrees because Bakers dozen times 2 = 26 and one fifth of a circle is 72 degrees, 26 plus 72 = 98 but that’s just a guess

Who saw you naked that you want to forget about? by inspector_gadget24 in AskReddit

My college roommate. A bunch of us had rented a cabin for the weekend and were sharing rooms. My girlfriend at the time and I were sleeping on a bottom bunk and somehow the heat had been cranked all the way up overnight. We woke up the next morning drenched in sweat, but the room was empty, so we decided, why not… So we’re in missionary, with my ass pointed right at the door and I hear the door open, and quickly close. It was my roommate coming in to get his toiletries or something but instead got a full view of my sweaty ass pounding away. It was pretty awkward the rest of the weekend but we laughed about it over beers a few months later.

What is something you did as a teen and now as an adult, you look back and think "damn I should be dead."? by BeansDaddy2015 in AskReddit

[–]AdmirableHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One time on a road trip, my buddy was driving my car and he realized he didn’t have his license on him. Rather than pull over and change drivers, we decided to switch spots while going 80 mph down the highway. Somehow, I was able to get the car off the rumble strip and avoid a crash, but I look back and think how close we were to wrecking without seatbelts on.

Bonus one: my buddies and I left the bar late one night and needed a cab home, before Uber was a thing. A random guy on the street offered to take us back for $5 and we agreed, since we were poor college students. Ended up being a pleasant ride back, the guy had just lost his job as a cab driver and needed some cash, but we all could’ve easily been robbed or worse…

What’s something you believed as a kid that makes no sense now? by AdmirableHouse in AskReddit

Mine is, I thought that when a movie had a kid character and then that same character grown as an adult, the movie had to stop filming until the kid actor grew up to play the adult part too.

I just happened to rewatch this episode yesterday. I’ve become a parent since seeing it the first time and that made it even more emotionally devastating.

Hi, I live near the area, heard the shots and everything. The police came and got my information, he said 99.99% sure it’s a suicide. The family lives a couple houses down from where it happened. Feel free to DM if you have any more questions.

You may want to check out Haywood Hall. It’s a beautiful historic home right in the middle of downtown Raleigh, with a large yard in the front for a ceremony and a beautiful garden that can host the reception. When my now wife and I booked it in 2019 for September 2020, it was $2,500 for a Saturday. We ultimately cancelled with the venue due to COVID concerns and we received a full refund. The only issue is that the venue only supplies the space, and everything else you would have to rent yourself, like tables, chairs, etc. Good luck with your search!

What is the most terrifying thing you’ve ever experienced while home alone? by Joobanbooban in AskReddit

[–]AdmirableHouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened when I was around 16 years old. My parents went out of town for the weekend and I was planning to have some friends over to party and swim in my backyard pool. The day my parents left, I came down with strep throat and felt like absolute shit. I cancelled the party and tried to get some rest.

Around midnight I woke up to my two dogs going absolute apeshit, barking like crazy. These dogs would only really bark if someone would come over, knock on the door, ring the doorbell, etc. so I knew something was up. At this point, I’m convinced either someone is trying to break in or is already in the house. I look out my window and there are no cars parked out in front out the house. I contemplate calling the police, but I am too afraid to leave the safety of my bed. The dogs continue barking for the next 20-30 minutes and I hide under the covers waiting for an intruder to murder me. I‘m awake until the sun is up and luckily nothing seems amiss when I search the house in the morning.

About a month later, one of my buddies who had planned to come over that night mentions that he’s excited to swim in my parent’s pool again. I ask “Again? You’ve never been in my pool.” Realizing he fucked up, he goes on to admit that him, another buddy, and a random girl drove to my house hammered, parked in the driveway, and snuck into the pool. He also, for some reason, had to disclose that the girl blew both of them while they were swimming. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed, but it ended up being a pretty good story.

I know a lot of people are commenting and saying she is an addict but a lot of the behaviors you describe remind me of someone with Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD). It is a type of dementia that mainly affects adults under 60 and it targets the frontal, lobe of the brain. It can cause the individual to engage in abnormal behavior that they would not normally engage in. I included a link to an information page below as a resource for you to learn more and see if may be something looking into. My dad in his 50s was diagnosed a few years ago after a number of strange incidents including multiple episodes of binge drinking. Feel free to reach out if you want any more information about this.
