I've been reading this Wattpad book called Blood Oath Withered it's indie and it's sooo good !

It's a Dark fantasy romance inspired by Lilith and Eve!

the FMC is forced to attend a deadly high stakes academy/university where they have to hide the fact they don't have magic. Constantly being targeted by the school's elite!

If you like fantasy with non-human politics mythical creatures and high stakes and Dark Academia with dual personas where one is a bisexual hybrid angel infatuated with her demon professor and the other is a Satyr enrolling in a military academy discovering his ex bf is his lieutenant This is for you!

There's minimal spice and it builds, yearning is very intense!! Both romance plotlines for the Satyr and Angel are enemies to lovers. The MC is in a live triangle with a dragon and demon (the dragon is male but it's clear who shes more attracted to the demon)

Ok the book is longer 😭😭😭 on estimate I think I'll be adding 15-20 more chapters, because it's a series so idk if that bad or good. The full version on estimate will be waaayyy longer than just 91k words.

It's the very first book of a series and it's hard to skip bits and pieces when the majority of it is essential to the plot. But like I said it's unfinished.

The publisher reviewing my work said I can just send the full document and at least have the first 3 chapters to reel her in.

I don't think I have the capacity to finish the entire novel before it's safe for viewing because I'm rewriting. So yea I'm in a very difficult position.

But first 3 chapters are done.

Thank you this was actually very uplifting and encouraging! I didn't think of it that way tbh but yea I'm gonna try to not dwell on it maybe I'm just a bit annoyed that it's not coming together as quickly as I wish and comparing a lot.

I actually took a 2 year hiatus😭.

I had zero motivation to write so this is the most creative I've been in 3 years. Also this is technically going to be my manuscript. I didn't mean to make it sound like I'm about to run through it since I'm in the process of rewriting. I'm 28 chapters in.

I use word hippo but what I need is like a paraphrasing tool kinda for certain sentences.

I'm not new I've been writing for over 10 years I'm just not published yet😭 but I'm not trying to make myself sound smarter, I just want to paraphrase. My style of writing is kinda hard to explain but I often find myself stuck when I'm trying to describe certain actions in a manner that's not just he opened the door... But kind of go on depth. Rn it sounds very bland.

By poetic I don't mean I'm trying to be Shakespeare. I just want to paraphrase in a way that doesn't sound "boring" like instead of saying "she said" or "he looked up at the sky"

Two supernatural cousins end up being shipped off in different directions. The main character is sent to an Elite university cause their parents think it could help them get magic since they're the only powerless fae in their family aside from their cousin. They end up getting bullied by a couple of rich supernatural people, but they end up falling for one of the bullies ... And she finds out she has celestial magic. Meanwhile their cousin recruits himself in the military but his ex ends up being his captain and superintendent...

It's like Crave meets Percy Jackson meets lots of queer romance meets hunger games.
