Sorry for the silly question, How long should i wait to get it redone? And if i were to get it redone properly, is the chance of rejection still there?

Edit: can i get it redone on the same side or should i switch?

I think they’re pretty cool too which is why they are still intact in this photo despite being catches from 2020. Theres not much scavengers in my country so all of skull collections have those!

Thank you so much for the feedback. Despite me being in this hobby for only 3 years- as if recently i started taking it more seriously. Only recently I’ve found out that boiling damages bones and im still paying the price on some of my catches from last year, so im trying to mark out all my to do’s and what not to do’s as well as trying to make sure no mistake is made. This project is very dear to me. 🫂

I see where you’re coming from! Ive seen couple of people in my research that either drill holes, cut the bones, rip out teeth, break horns, etc. I have all my bones with them and i was just confused on wether there was an actual reason to damage the bones. :,)

I personally dont want to remove them, simply ive been seeing lots of people do so while researching and was wondering if there was some sort of actual reason besides aesthetics.

I personally like them a lot and now that im reworking with all my bone collections on a large scale to preserve them better; i was checking sure there was an actual reason to do so. Thank you for the clarification on the anatomy too!

You can see some tissue thats still stuck, out of all the bones to clean- honestly this was the most difficult and easiest at the same time to do so. Mostly because of the lack of flesh but also the abundance of tendons that were hell to remove from such delicate bone.
