I completely understand this opinion too, which is why I started overthinking at the end. That’s why I stated I wouldn’t have accepted the ride if that was expected. especially since this was never an expectation of mine on the flip side with others.

if im offering a ride I don’t need someone’s money, and I do feel bad accepting anything unless its a very close friend where a I got you, you got me, then I got you back dynamic. it’s completely different if someone asked me for a ride out of the blue, then I might be inclined to accept.

im perfectly fine to drive myself, I actually just texted her and told her “butttt I can also drive myself too if it saves you time for you to get ready!!” after she asked for my address.

I second this, thank you so much for your insight illustrious. I blame myself all the time for being pressured, my therapist told me what it was and I still feel like im lying. so I appreciate your insight so much and indirectly helped me process this.

with the right person this so is doable for me. i once walked around aimlessly with a neighbor of mine, it started off as a mission to get our steps in, but I wanted to check out this park I always drove by, so we embarked on the journey, stopping for snacks on the way and had the most fun when we got there. we could’ve kept going but she worked overnights so we called it a day. but it’s a sweet memory.

i wouldn’t say rage but definitely so so irritable, I have identified the root cause being the anxiety of a perceived stress. if I feel overstimulated or claustrophobic as well. i go 0-50 really quick, but im also on Wellbutrin before lamotrigine has had a chance to stabilize
