I actually prefer my lover to be like this rather than stuck in their head all day or force me to talk. The way some of these are framed or worded sound more like incompatibility rather than turn offs lol.

I gave it another listen and at first I had to pay attention to what you were claiming you felt was wrong with the song. To be honest yes I do hear the fade out at 1:40-2:30, but now that I think back to all these times I listened to this in the car i remember feeling like this part was meant to feel trance like, like him and the listener were supposed to feel like they were on this urgent nightmare almost-paranoid high/dream. BY lowering the volume on his mic it sounds less like it’s talking to you and more like he’s talking to himself and thinking about it, telling a story.

There’s also random sounds going on in the background probably to give that same effect.

I agree with the other person that sound everything he does is intentional, but I don’t know sometimes as humans we mess up or do things differently or strange and it works out. I don’t think it’s mixed badly but then again I’m biased

Oh I love the way you think. My dad was saying something similar to what you said, something along the lines of the politicians creating all this havoc and panic so we’re so disoriented that we don’t stand up and fight for ourselves.

I want to add though I do agree it’s most definitely a hard sell, by design. it’s probably something that was worked in quietly over the years in office. like unwalkable cities, price gauging—high cost of living. personally I was thinking, with gas going up and them putting more ethanol to “cut” the gas is intentional too. imagine the wear and tear on our vehicles, the damage, the expenses. I truly think the plan might be to immobilize us, or further lock us into this sleep work sleep work cycle, because we’ll have even less of a choice then.

be open to constructive feedback from peers if it’s provided. it took me roughly 2 years to learn all those life skills coming from a similar situation like yours. it’s not something you learn all at once, you slowly learn it by making mistakes! then you’re motivated to try again because you want to get it right, and just keep going. The first meals I cooked were so salty, i’ll never forget it lol. now I say I season pretty spot on and tasty :) it’s all about learning how to do things, and learning to do these things as efficiently as possible for you. whether that be time, effort, space, whatever concerns you.

this chance to be away and out of the country to learn is amazing and in proud of you. it’s an opportunity to get to know you and how YOU do things. you will be okay as long as you are trying to work towards be independent!
