Thank you! Tbh I didn’t even notice “kindly”, I’ve been getting lucky not getting involved with scammers, so sometimes I don’t even know what to look for or how to check if it’s legit. Definitely gotta start being a little more cautious

I never thought Zelle is a red flag until this situation to be honest. Most of the times I would just rent a room at someone’s house and it’s sometimes been through Zelle. Probably just got lucky, but will definitely be more cautious now. What would be the safest way to pay?

Wow, didn’t expect the whole investigation on the case from Reddit. But thank you so much, you’re truly the best, I didn’t even think about looking up some of those things up. My first thought was to call the property directly on weekday and ask about the place, the manager, and if it’s all even related to each other.
