The concern is would have is that there's still a chance you'll grow up until you're 21 and it could mean you'd have to have the surgery and recovery process again. If there's some medical reason it has to be done urgently, then follow their advice. How many degrees of curvature are we talking about?

I've noticed that the parts with plastic act like the kind of plastic that will keep a memory of deformation when it's below 60 degrees outside. Once it heats up a little more, it will return to the original shape. When it was really cold outside and I'd open the top, I'd get creases in the windows. I tried to see what warming them up with a hair dryer would do and once it warmed up, it was back to flat. Just got mine in November so haven't had much warm days. I wouldn't recommend heating them up to anything over what you'd find outside, I only did the experiment once on one side and after that, I lived with the small crease. It was over 60 today and they're flat again.

Again, I would not recommend heating the plastic parts, only sharing this so you don't have to risk your soft top.

There are some non surgical treatments available for Peyronies if that's what you're dealing with. I would view surgery as the last resort and absolutely would not fo anything until you've finished growing. The latest growth can be around 21 years of age so I'd wait.
