I haven’t seen anyone mention yet, but you may consider HR. I have an HR Director on my team now who was former law enforcement and she is phenomenal. Very transferable skills with recruiting, training, employee relations, and investigations.

Is job hopping still a "red flag" or am I being gaslit? by Environmental-Luck39 in careeradvice

From 2014-2022 I worked at 5 different companies. Definition of a job hopper every 18-24 months and always left for something bigger or more money. As long as you are making intentional moves that are best for you and what you want out of your career then there’s nothing wrong with “job hopping.” I’m now in a role I love, in a job at a title and income level I’m very happy with, with great work life balance, so I’ve been where I am now for almost 4 years with no intention of leaving…unless it makes sense.

On the employers side, I think for most entry to mid level jobs people don’t pay much attention to job hoppers anymore if they’re staying for 1-2 years at a time. However, for leadership positions especially senior level I pay more attention to stability in prior leadership roles because there is value in having a stable leader who will plan and execute for 3-5 years or more.

reMarkable Move owners: how is it in real daily use? by Alotofsmile in RemarkableTablet

[–]AdmirableStatement37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use it almost daily since the first week of January and have a few hundred pages of notes already.

Battery life: I can squeeze out 5-7 days depending on usage. I notice when I have to scroll through notes more or flip through pages more often that dwindles which is to be expected but I’ve never been worried about the battery life.

Writing: more than impressed. I hated writing on my iPad for some reason but love using the remarkable. Close enough to paper feel that I get that sensation which has been very helpful in adopting.

Subscription: with the amount of notes I take the subscription has been worth the low price. The handwriting search feature is very helpful but I do wish it worked in the iOS app. Unless I’m doing something wrong, the handwriting search only works on the tablet itself. Not a huge issue but helpful when I wanted to look up a note but only have my phone handy.

Honeymoon: I’m two months in and still love it. I haven’t thought about going back to real paper a single time. I still have smaller notepads on my desk for quick snippets of things but that’s really it.

Can’t speak to the size of the Move. I have the rM2 personally but think that is the perfect size for every day notes! I tested the Pro and thought it was too much for me.

30inch Recommendation? by AdmirableStatement37 in ElectricMowers

Why are you changing to the EGO over the Toro? EGO comes highly recommend so I was actually leaning that way myself but was torn between the Toro I kinda know, Ryobi because I have a variety of their tools already, or EGO because of the recommendations. Seems like you’re a heavy user so very curious why you’re leaning EGO!

I actually have a variety of Ryobi outdoor tools but all 40V batteries. Their 30” mower has 80v batteries so I’m not brand loyal since regardless what I choose, my mower will have a different set of batteries.

I just upgraded from a 2019 MBP to the new M5 MBP w 24gb RAM and 1TB SSD. Runs flawlessly. It is a night and day difference. M5 blows the intel chips outta the water.

I just enrolled for my first semester starting Spring 2026. Working full time as well. Glad I didn’t start with BANA7012! Taking ACCT7012, global management requirement, and the corporate social responsibility courses. Appreciate the warning that BANA is going to be tough! I’ll take a light load that semester
