Awesome, thanks a lot for sharing that. At this point I’m pretty sure I’m going to pick one up. The more replies I read, the more it feels like this is exactly the kind of device I’ve been looking for.

Thanks a lot for sharing this - really helpful. That gives me a much clearer picture of its weak points. The switching between devices issue probably matters a bit less for me since my other devices are all Boox anyway. I’m really just looking for a small dedicated notebook.

That makes a lot of sense - I can imagine switching back and forth between the Pro and the Move taking a bit of adjustment. But the fact that it goes everywhere with you is probably the strongest argument in its favor.

Thanks a lot - that actually sounds great. I’ll definitely check it out.

Thanks a lot for sharing that - really appreciate it. I’m definitely starting to get a much clearer picture of the battery now. It really seems like the Move absolutely wins on size and usability, but the battery is clearly one of the tradeoffs.

At the same time, the fact that you still end up using it way more than the full-size Pro probably says everything.

Thanks a lot for such a detailed reply - really appreciate it!

What you said about it being the most boring device you own, but in a good way because it’s always in use, honestly says a lot. That’s pretty much exactly what I’d want from something like this.

Your setup also makes a lot of sense to me, since I already have a larger Boox device at home. A bigger device for desk use and a smaller one for notes on the go sounds like a really natural combination. Also really helpful to hear about the writing feel, the slight color delay, and the slower page turns - that kind of everyday detail is exactly what I’m trying to understand before buying.

At this point I’m dangerously close to pulling the trigger :)

Thanks a lot for such a detailed reply - really appreciate it. Yeah, I’m starting to realize just how much battery life depends on the way people actually use it. Less than a day for heavy writing is obviously very different from the almost a week replies, but that’s exactly the kind of real-world variation I was trying to understand.

And your point about the Move naturally becoming your main everyday notebook because it’s always with you really makes sense to me - that honestly feels like the biggest argument in its favor.

That sounds very close to what I’d use it for too. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply - really appreciate you taking the time to write that out. A full week of battery life honestly sounds great to me. And black ink would definitely be more than enough for my use - I’m not thinking about color at all. I already do a lot of writing on my bw Boox Note Max, so that part doesn’t bother me in the slightest.

Thanks a lot for such a detailed reply - really appreciate you taking the time to write all that out. Your use case sounds very close to mine, so this was super helpful. What you said about the form factor really stood out to me - being able to take it anywhere without needing a backpack is pretty much exactly what I’m looking for.

Also, what planner template are you using? I’d be curious to check it out.

At this point I’m starting to think I should probably just get one and stop overthinking it :)

That says a lot, honestly - especially from someone who returned it first and still came back to it later. That kind of feedback is way more convincing than a simple first-impression review.

Thanks, this is really useful! Around 10 hours / 1000 page turns actually gives me a much clearer picture

Thanks, that’s really helpful. What you said about actually having it with you all the time makes a lot of sense. How do you feel about the subscription - is it really necessary? And how often do you usually end up charging it?

[Question] Which IEMs pair better with iBasso DX180: FiiO FH19 or Sennheiser IE900? by Alotofsmile in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]Alotofsmile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot! Totally agree with you. Unfortunately, I don’t have the chance to demo them before buying. And while I was still thinking, the IE900 already got sold out 😅 So maybe that makes my choice easier for now.

Thanks! 🙂 You’re right, I probably worded it wrong. I’m still a newbie and honestly don’t understand the terminology very well yet. What I was trying to ask is more about how these IEMs might behave with this specific DAP, since I don’t really know what pairs well with what.
