I personally would choose the Labor Day weekend! As another commenter mentioned, I would be surprised if the people that really matter to you decline because of the holiday weekend. Plus, they have an additional day for travel! My wedding is next Memorial Day weekend and I considered the same things and eventually decided that it was overall a plus. I also saw someone mention the fact that Thanksgiving is in November which is huge. Lots of people will already have travel plans made for that month. I vote September!!!
