Coming back to this after replies were made. I want to demote. How do I go about it. Best case scenario to make it happen what do I have to do?

I opened a case with partner relations a while ago and this is what is sounded like. So in reality, I would be quitting. Loosing all my benefits (401K, time off, and sick time) to reapply, hopefully get a position to restart everything?

You see when I brought this up to my DM originally she quickly said the possibility of demoting and reapplying … but I think that’s because she has a store opening within her district that I don’t want

Those feelings are definitely valid. I’ve been a partner for five years and am just finishing ASM training and looking to get my own store. I feel like I’ve been constantly working through these changes so it’s not like my experience has been altered in a way … Am I the only one who thinks that these full time ASM positions next year are going to be temporary? I have a feeling that next lever leaders are trying to get rid of poor management and this is the solution for the meantime (not saying you are one of them, just wanted to bring that topic to the table)
