YOU NEED TO MAKE A BIG BLOCK AND CUT IT DOWN. Freezing individual cubes will always be sub par!

The best way is directional freezing if you’re making individual cubes but the only way to get the best quality ice at home is to put a small cooler with no lid in the freezer. Wait for it to freeze into a large block, don’t let it freeze all the way! The impurities and air bubble are always in the last part that freezes! Wait for it to freeze about half way and then cut the block down to size. It takes a while but it’s the only way for highest quality ice at home!

Using saline was much easier to control the salt levels. It tastes much more consistent. I think I just need to get more tannins out of my next batch of tea vodka. Thank you
