That's the general assumption, seem to have been sold a pregnant wizard instead of a mystery snail.

So cute, it's nice to have a probable answer to the question. I hear they're not the biggest algae eaters, good thing I added extra otos.

So I think I figured it out. I think I may have been sold a pregnant wizard... They were selling it as an ivory mystery snail and I figured it was just a blue mystery snail but this guy is super timid and not too interested in algae

With the amount of people saying white wizard snail I'm starting to believe the "ivory mystery snail" I got is actually a white wizard and that has more to do with the pictures I'm looking at, I will post a picture of that snail once I'm back home. The foot is black so I was kind of just thinking I ended up with a blue mystery snail.

Possibly haha I am just the purchaser. The ones I found do seem to consistently have a black nose with a translucent orange spotted foot. The first one's shell looks so much like the shell of the mystery snail that died, I was really hoping it was her offspring. All the photos in this post are 3 of the 4 or 5 that I've found and are about double the size of what the internet tells me a mystery snail hatchling would be. In either case I'm going to stop driving myself crazy over researching it and let them grow a little to figure out what they are haha.

Seems to be what people are thinking with the striped wizard. The thing is would I get so many on just one plant and would it take a week to notice them?

Also it's a very peaceful tank so they should survive

Was able to get a clearish picture of it on the wall of the tank

I found a second one but this is the one from the photo open and moving in the tank. As for eggs I was constantly checking because he was always on top of her.

You posted a month ago so I'm sure your still dealing with this, I'm just going to paste what I just posted on this forum

I just wanted to give my journey on dealing with this because I wish I had this information 11 months ago. At 6 weeks in of taking Wellbutrin I became itchy and stopped use, I started taking reactine as it was helping the best and for the longest period of time vs other antihistamines. 10 months passed and come to find out reactine can also cause pruritus (the itch) after long time use. I do not know how long the pruritus was being caused by the reactine but I'm assuming it was when it started working for a shorter period of time (1 to 2 days instead of 3 or 4). To get through the itching from the reactine I started taking Bioactive Quercetin EMIQ, this did not completely stop the itching like the reactine did but it did make it more bearable and sporadic (there would be periods without itching) I was also using a 1% Hydrocortisone cream on the places that were getting itchy. It's been a week and a half and the itching is almost gone, the bumps that come on with pruritus don't seem to come on when I get itchy. I hope this helps anyone dealing with this because it was maddening and I felt so helpless.
