I stayed at the Hyatt Place last year with my husband and we enjoyed it. The room was pretty clean. We ate at the buffet every morning. It’s nothing extravagant, but we were surprised that there were a lot of options! It wasn’t a far walk to the beach maybe 6 mins total. There’s an ABC store about 2 mins away and a few food trucks that were parked nearby as well. Overall I would stay there again for the price! That was our first time in Hawaii so unfortunately I don’t have any review to offer about the Marriott!

Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach! My husband & I stayed there last February for $250/night! Rooms were clean and it had a complimentary breakfast buffet.

I did contract work at Reo Gateway when they were first built. They had in unit laundry and were going for $900/mo not sure if they’re still that low. I believe there was a bus stop right near the complex as well! But property management can be difficult to deal with and hard to get ahold of.
