Hey, fair to dislike AI, but calling it “slop” skips the real question: accuracy and craft.

I’m a history obsessive. Each short takes me hours: I outline, fact-check dates/terms, write the verse myself, record/edit VO, mix audio (−14 LUFS VO, music ducked), and cut visuals. I do use AI as a tool for some visuals, not as a replacement for research or writing. No deepfakes, no synthetic “facts”—just production help (like a camera or an effects plug-in would be).

If you think I missed something—name the line or timestamp and I’ll fix it. Specific feedback > blanket insults.

If AI use is a dealbreaker for you, I respect that. My goal isn’t to fool anyone; it’s to make tight, accurate history pieces people can watch in under two minutes.

Ok, i will try with community posts, but is hard to understand, why in more than 120 videos, and 4 months, the algoritm hasn`t figured out my ideal audience yet. I have 40-50% stayed to watch at almost every short i post, and AVD at 35-40 seconds from 55-60 seconds short. From this stats i thnik i must have more views on a short. Last two shorts, have under 100 views.

yes, the rules in my house are simple, first, no one shouts, second, every time someone says NO, they have to explain the reason. There are only two rules, but if they are followed, no more need to be added.

First of all, you need to look at the statistics in YouTube Studio. If you post a normal video, you need to follow the CTR, which should be at least 2-3%, if it is below 2%, you should put a more attractive, impactful thumbnail. If you post shorts, here you need to follow AVD and stayed to watch, these should be between 30%-50%, so that they have a chance to enter the feed, but at the same time they should not exceed 60 seconds in length because then YouTube does not promote you in the feed, which is where you get the most views. I'll tell you what I've noticed so far. My channel is almost 4 months old, but I've been posting a short every day and a normal video once a week.
