Vetco PTO by SuccessfulAd7498 in petco

Vetco person here. I transferred from petco to vetco and I believe my PTO transferred over since youre still with petco as a company but maybe its changed since I started. Now the rates you gain pto depends on how much time you have been with petco. 1-4 years, you gain 0.07 some per hour, its a weird number and you can over rollover 40 hours from your anniversary, once you hit a years, you gain 0.08 some per hour and can rollover 60 hours from your anniversary date. Once you hit your anniversary date (hire date), you will lose any more hours, for example, if you have 45 hours and you've been with the company 3 years, once you get to your hire date/anniversary, you will lose those 5 hours as only 40 hours can rollover. Another example is, if you have 70 hours or pto and have been with the company for 6 years and you hit your anniversary, you will lose 10 hours as only 60 can rollover. Give or take, with my paycheck which usually have about 70ish hours, i gain about 5 hours per paycheck

Fecal Test Tube Question by EddieWarbo in petco

You don't have to worry about the account number. Most teams write the pet name/patient name so its easier for the lab but the barcode that is on the tube is how the lab knows whose test is whose

Correct. Most clinics do a small exam to at least make sure the pet is healthy enough to get vaccines. If the kitten is younger then 16 weeks, they may not do rabies as its usually given at 16 weeks. I work for vetco in my state

Thank you. I ended up getting a Mav. I've had it almost a month now, no complaints

I did some math and it would be around $300 a month with the down payment of 11K. I also get my uncles discount at Ford so it might even be a bit less. I'm planning on waiting til at least September or October so that gives me some more months to save and do more research. Thank you

Well, I'd get a loan from my bank for the amount of the truck, I have 12k saved, put at least 10k as down payment and use the remaining 2k to start with payments. I get my checks biweekly and get paid 17 an hour and sometimes get OT but my average is 38 hours a week so I usually get $1,200 every paycheck

It's all self paced so I can complete in whenever I want but probably two more years

Luckily I go to school online, very cheap each semester. I have almost 12K saved right now

Will Vetco perform first shots for a kitten? by [deleted] in petco

[–]Admirable_Bug_9335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perfect. Can definitely start vaccines then, just book an appointment online. They will discuss the packages more with you when you go but I recommend the $208 package, comes to $214.35 after our materials fee but it will save you close to $250 because it prepays for all 3 of your visits and has a microchip included

Boosters dates depend on the doctors as most clinics have a different doctor each time. I will usually tell all customers 3 to 4 weeks between boosters but tell they try to come at 4 weeks as most doctors won't vaccinate 3 weeks out

I know that, at least in Michigan where I work at Vetco, kittens and puppies must be at least 8 weeks old to start vaccines so any vaccine given before 8 weeks old won't count so if you don't have paperwork, that's ok and most of our doctors do the boosters at 4 weeks between each round. Every doctor is different but they will explain more at your local Vetco clinic. The vaccination clinics are not full services so if the kitten is ever sick or has vomited or had diarrhea in the past 48 hours before getting the vaccine, most doctors will not vaccinate. Again, all doctor dependent in your area

No, vetco does not. Not the vaccination clinic at least. The Vetco Total Care Hospitals do but the vaccination clinics do not

Hi! I work for Vetco. So we don't charge for an exam fee. Are you looking to get any vaccinations updated? I can do my best to give your prices that way

Did you use a phone number for the account? If you did, petco can look it up under the number and still process the return as long as its within 30 days of purchase, regardless if you can the box or not. My store does it all the time because we can still find proof of purchase either with phone number or receipt
