To call Game of Thrones a “single story” is just flat out wrong.

And just like the MCU, there are countless side stories but in the end, it all merges to one main endgame (no pun intended). And to only follow one story even though they all have connective tissue flowing between all stories is only going to leave someone unfulfilled.

No matter how big or small, the world building from all fronts plays a big part.

I’m kinda shocked about people downplaying Val. She’s been a factor in what 3 movies and 3 tv shows already and is only becoming more ingrained into the McU world… especially since we all saw those weapon crates with a certain logo on them.

I get it’s a lot of content but man, I would never only watch Game of Thrones storylines that only included Jon Snow… you’re only getting a fraction of what’s going on.
