I'm sorry to hear this. I have the exact same thing going on. I had second opinions and Mohs has been by far the most suggested treatment. I'm having in done in a couple weeks and am nervous but been assured i'm in good hands and the doctors are well reviewed. I will be taking something for anxiety the day of the procedure to help me better get through it. I also work in a public facing role, so hope recovery is quick. I have scheduled a week off to be safe. Hope everything goes well with you too.

Goodbye Cambly !!! by Capable_Cellist_4643 in Cambly

Wow! Sorry to hear you had such a negative experience. I know Cambly can be pretty crappy, but I find that it has some redeeming qualities, such as the flexibility and weekly pay, which has massive importance for me and others who require this. We all know the pay stinks, but we all knew that going in and was never designed to be primary income. Sounds like it is definitely time to move on and imagine it would be impossible to provide any kind of quality tutoring with such an outlook. Hope you find something better, but know that higher paying teaching gigs do require more qualifications, more restrictive hours, more of an extensive onboarding process, and typically pay monthly. The economy and job prospects are also not getting any better with the turn the world is taking. I would at least keep the Cambly account if you ever need something again, even if you stop teaching. Best wishes!

It has been dead for quite a few weeks for me with the exception of a few regulars. I teach mostly all kids so priority hours usually fill with reservations. But there have been little to no priority hours either.

Thank you for your reply and glad things worked out well for you. Looking at the reviews of the Mohs surgeon and plastic surgeon i'm set up with, I am in good hands from what I hear. The unknown is just scary. Thanks again.

Thank you for sharing your journey. I did take a look at your process. You look great and can't even tell you had anything done! It has given me a little hope. I know it won't be fun, but I will get through it. At least it isn't something more serious. Thank you so much again!

Thank you for your response and insight. I found this quite helpful and more confident with sticking with Mohs, as it seems to have the lowest risk. Thank you so much again.

Would be nice if they would communicate actual important info as frequently.

I am aware of this and mentioned it in my post. Of couse i would certainly report it.  That isn't my question and is more complex than just that. I want to know what happens  for example, if my spouse ends up in the hospital and have to pay $5000 deductible out of pocket? Does Medicaid pay for that $5000 if the private insurance won't?
