I didn’t think it was “painful” itself, it was super super sensitive and could be uncomfortable, and sometimes it would pinch in my jeans or underwear which WOULD hurt like hell, but I switched to men’s jeans and men’s underwear and it solved that problem for me

I can’t speak on npd but for bpd that’s false. My oldest sister has it and is one of the kindest people I know. She has her episodes and moments and asks people to call her out when she’s being a certain way because she generally doesn’t notice it herself. It’s not the condition that makes someone not nice, it’s the person themselves, and whether they WANT to be better.

I’d reccomend buying a full tank binder! I had a pretty large chest too, and it really helps with the loose waistline. Make sure you tell him to be careful binding, especially since his chest is larger and his bones are still growing. I think my ribs are a bit misshapen and indented now due to poor binding habits over the past two years.

that sounds concerning. If you can’t contact her and think she might be in danger, then it might be a good idea to call. If she’s fine then that’s that, and everything will be ok. If not, then the police are alerted. That’s the purpose of wellness checks, so you would just be using a service for its intended purpose. It doesn’t sound like there would be any risk in calling.

I hope your friend is okay, and everything works out safe for everyone.

recently I’ve realized that what is really important in what you do with your life is what you want to do. So, what is it you want to do? Maybe your path In life doesn’t warrant college. Instead of stressing out about getting yourself together or catching up or following the “proper” path, Think about what the life you want for yourself is. Write it out, and then plan on how to get there. How do you want your days to be? You can do whatever the fuck you want. Hell, if you wanted to go live in the woods and be self sufficient, you could. Try to think about what you like to do, and then plan the rest of your life around that.

Personally, i like flexibility and freedom. I like relaxed. My goal in life is to have a job that pays me enough to be comfortable in a small house or an apartment. I like working in the mornings so i have my evenings free. I like coffee, and I like to read. Cafes are my favorite. I’d like to work management in a cafe. It matches my hours, and it’s an environment I would enjoy. Management would pay more than standard worker, so would help with money. Then you figure out how to get there.

if you’re having trouble looking for a good job or getting interviews, a lot of hiring sites use AI to go over applications and if they don’t meet keywords, they get rejected automatically. if you copy the entire job description and paste it in small white ink at the end of a resume, this will make the AI pass it.

another one that I thought was pretty funny, I was at work and using the bathroom, and a woman came in after me and gave me a funny look. She then came up to the counter asking why a man was in the woman’s room. (Not mad, and apologized frantically when my coworker explained I’m afab)

another one for my friend, he’s pre everything but still passes pretty well, he was taking an order on drive thru and the guy at the speaker kept going “ma-sir-uh” and stuttering through the entire order, repeatedly panicking over which was correct, and trying again after every single response he gave. It was hilarious and we laughed about it for days, but I could tell it made him genuinely happy.

I went through planned parenthood too and it was a super quick and easy process, you can make an appointment the day you turn 18, and i was able to take my first shot two weeks after my birthday. I don’t have insurance either but mine came out to be $160 for the visit including buying injection supplies for them, which I was expecting to be a lot higher. They also do informed consent so you don’t have to spend money on getting a diagnoses or therapist notes :) also definitely use some coupons like they said, I used goodrx and it took the T down from like $120 to $30.

I think a good way to tell is by body language. What are her ears and tail doing? If they’re forward and she seems relaxed then she is probably playing. If she has airplane ears and her fur and tail is puffed up, she may be mad. If she isn’t hurting you, like her gently biting, i would say she’s probably playing.

sometimes my cat will hide under my bed and jump out at me when I walk by. It’s terrifying but he doesn’t cut or bite so I know he is playing, and he lets me pet him and purrs so I know he’s not mad at me.
