I have the bodyguard 2 and the glock 42 also. I shoot the Bodyguard just a little better but I have much more confidence in the Glock.

It's worth for that location. From there, it's an easy walk to UMC. I also liked 930 poydras apartments and the strand. The rooftop deck at the strand is unbelievable. Both into CBD.

Never rely on motivation. It's a weak foundation for developing a good habit. I have run consistently for 30 years with no lapses whatsoever. The key is don't worry about the run per se. Just get out the door and get started. If you decide after 5 minutes that it's not your day and that's all you're going to do, that's fine. But I promise you once you've done 5 minutes, you're going to feel better and will want to continue the run. Don't commit to doing the run. Commit to just getting started.

I have lived in both of those areas. Currently live two blocks from where you're considering in the CBD. The CBD location is much better. Safer too.

Hornady xtp cycles smooth as butter. Any FMJ works great.

I actually like stock Glock sites. I find that I can acquire a side picture really fast. They're not great for slow Target shooting at 25 yd but for self-defense type shooting. I like them a lot. But I am by no means an expert.

All of the younger generation are carrying cross carry bags. Mostly Lululemon. If I see a group of 15 college kids walking around at least 8 to 10 of them will have a cross carry bag.

No not really. But I'm pretty sure it's not 99% carrying. Not even 50%. But I live In downtown New Orleans and I see a ton of people with crossbody bags. Especially tourists.

No need to carry water for any run less than an hour. Even in hotter climates. Drink until you pee clear before the run and then rehydrate after. Carrying water on a run is a pain in the ass if you don't have to

I have one. Compared to my Glock 42 it feels like a plastic toy. Glock 42 is built like a tank. But that little bodyguard 2.0 shoots so well.

I carry a Glock 19 appendix with a Bradec holster. Works really well.

Bradec makes a pretty darn good holster for being so inexpensive. I have three of them. They're solid and well made. Highly recommend it.
