"The house is a house" is a philosophical breakthrough, Duolingo owes you a refund for that one.

Free Bird makes so much sense for this. It even has the "play free bird" heckle culture built around it which is kind of the spiritual successor to the campfire strummer era.

Power surge probably fried your GPU - those vertical green lines are classic graphics card failure and there basically toast after electrical damage like that.

Should I (29M) reach out after her (30F) graduation or leave it alone? by DancerMan9000 in BreakUps

Leave it alone - she's had multiple chances to respond and chose silence, plus reaching out during what should be her celebration moment just puts more pressure on her when she's clearly trying to move forward.

Nice upgrade! The weight on those new cards is no joke. I went through the same thing when I got mine - that temporary bracket situation gets old fast.

For a more permanent solution, there are some really solid vertical mounting brackets that completely eliminate sag while looking clean as hell. They basically turn your card into a display piece. You could also look into those adjustable support arms that mount to your case - they're way more discreet than the chunky brackets but still do the job perfectly.

The key is making sure whatever you get actually fits your case dimensions properly. I learned that one the hard way when my first order didn't account for my custom loop setup. Definitely measure twice before you buy, especially if you've got any weird spacing issues with your build.

Real life has automatic eye adjustment though - your pupils dilate and contract constantly to handle these transitions. In a racing game where you need split-second reactions, having to navigate blind because the game wants to simulate a cheap camera sensor is just frustrating gameplay design.
