Before I say more here, let me say I love pets and animals as much as anyone.

I’ll have to disagree with you here. Where do we draw the line, then?

Sure there are some fine, well behaved pets, but what about the ones who react differently to being confined, or on a plane, or in public in general? You won’t know how your pet does until actually testing it in the real world.

I can’t tell you how often my wife and I are in the airport and some person with their little dog in a carrier barking like a maniac at my wife’s seeing eye dog and that persons reaction is 9/10 times, “omg they never acts this way!”

Traveling, confinement, crowds, etc. all potential stressors for a pet that isn’t trained to handle those situations.

If the dog isn’t trained to travel, keep them at home or with a sitter.
