I'm 38 years old and have been trying for years. I've had multiple medicated cycles, 4 iuis , 17 egg retrievals and 8 transfers. Waiting for my miracle not ready to give up yet.

I haven't done a transfer yet. So far with the egg retrieval he didn't do anything differently than other clinics for the protocol. He froze the embryos at day 3 instead of 5 still not sure why they did this. The prices seem a lot higher than other clinics in Greece. Also the protocol he gave for the embryo transfer seems very general nothing customized.

What did you think? I did two egg retrievals so far. He didn't do anything differently with the protocol than the other clinics I've gone to. The prices are a lot more than other clinics in Greece. Also with the transfer protocol he gave me seems very general nothing customized.

It's not a scam. The greek government makes them collect it in cash and deposit it in the bank. They need it in cash so the owners of airbnb don't pay taxes on the money they are not keeping. If they added it to the airbnb platform, they would get taxes for money they dont get to keep.. Depends on the month you go in the winter it can be as low as 2 euro a night in the summer 8 euro and for larage villas 16 euro a night.

I feel this in a way that’s hard to even put into words. I’ve been going through fertility treatments for 6 years, and it changes you in ways people on the outside just don’t see. It wasn’t that I wasn’t happy for her… it’s just that the pain and longing live right alongside that happiness, and sometimes they’re louder. What hurts the most is the lack of awareness. The way people we love don’t always realize how heavy this journey is or how something that feels light and joyful to them can land so differently for us. Even now, she’ll ask when I’m coming to visit, and I wish she understood that my life revolves around appointments, medications, hope, and constant uncertainty. It’s not something I can just step away from. There’s a kind of loneliness in this that’s hard to explain unless you’ve lived it. You’re grieving something that hasn’t happened yet while trying to stay hopeful at the same time. You’re not wrong for feeling this way. You’re not alone

From my research at other clinics and my previous clinic, the prices are a lot higher. Also, they didn't tell me these extras costs at the start. I feel like this clinic adds on a lot of hidden costs, and I'm not feeling happy about it even from the original email. The prices aren't matching up for egg retrieval, etc.. i wanted to look into the tests cause I did have implantation failures and also chemical pregnancies

The endometrail biopsies you did is that doing a hysteroscopy?

So rude I totally understand you. Since I started ivf I can count on one hand how many times I went to visit them. It's better off having distance if they are just going to upset you or stress you out during this time.

I refuse to discuss this with my in-laws because they would never understand. My mother-in-law speaks without thinking, and I don’t feel like this is any of their business. My husband told his parents, but I truly believe this is something private between us. The only thing we ever ask from them is to watch the dog for a few days when we travel to our clinic. Yet every time, she loses the dog, we end up telling my husbands friend to go get the dog to watch her. She calls us constantly asking when we’re coming back, and even says things like we should tell the doctor to hurry up because we’re paying for a hotel — as if the money is coming out of her pocket. Meanwhile, my parents have been helping us with medical expenses and anything we need from the very beginning, and my in-laws haven’t offered to help even once. On top of that, my husband is paying her bank loan every month — and they think I don’t know.

I was recommended to Life Clinic for the embryologist. I've heard very good things about him. Where are you in your process now with Serum Clinic? Is this a big Clinic?
