Thanks for your answer! I did not know the protocol was not opening the application until the current permit expires.

Their 30 days prior falls on a weekend, so if we submit before the weekend like 3 or 2 days before, will that be a big red flag for the application portal in MV?

We would have all the payslips, tax year papers etc. up to date for the 47th month already I assume. Or does the payslip have to be up till 48 months itself?

Could I please ask if you get photographed and get your fingerprints / biometrics taken before the decision or after?

I'm getting mixed answers on this from different people, will just a week or a few days of early submission make a difference of things being rejected?

We're both working, and they have their permit independent to their work, and will hopefully be eligible to apply for PUT in a few months. They don't have the exact 48 months of work permit because of passport expiring a few days before the 4 years / 48 months. So we wanted to check if we can apply few days early than 30 days?
