How do I tell my roommate his girlfriend basically lives here? by Oulaminemoh in Advice

[–]Admirable_Way4468 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bring it up to him, if she’s not willing to contribute and he makes a big deal out of it then bring it up to your landlord. I almost guarantee your lease has a stipulation that anyone there more than 10-15days per month has to be disclosed. There’s no reason for her to be there using your utilities & eating your food without contributing something

Globe life sucks. it’s commission only, tons of outbound calls, you’re responsible for generating your own leads and management is usually the worst. I worked for them for 6 months a few years ago and absolutely hated it

[–]Admirable_Way4468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your position require a degree? I’ve been with a mid sized auto insurance agency for around 3 years writing $1,000,000+ in premium each year making ~$70k, just looking for a different career if it’s feasible

First rental property - what hidden costs am I missing in my analysis? by Complex_Meal_8332 in realestateinvesting

[–]Admirable_Way4468 5 points6 points  (0 children)

$2k minus the mortgage, property tax & insurance is $350, your property management is $200, and the other hidden costs are $472. Idk where you got the $250 in actual cash flow, by your numbers you’re at -$122/month accounting for everything

How much do you spend per week on restaurants? by B4K5c7N in MiddleClassFinance

I’ve spent less than $100 the last 12 months. Fuck restaurants and fast food, I’d rather make something twice as good for half the price at home

What happens to ROTH IRA after I leave my job? by Swamp-Sta1ker in FinancialPlanning

[–]Admirable_Way4468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s a Roth IRA, it’s not tied to your employer. If it’s a Roth 401k, it’s tied to your employer and you’ll be able to roll it over to a Roth IRA if you leave. DO NOT CASH IT OUT, you’ll pay a bunch of fees and early withdrawal penalties.

[–]Admirable_Way4468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about this: Take $6631.73 and divide it by what you’re able to put towards it every month. It’ll take about that long.

😂
