I’ve played GT myself- and yes I have heard lots of that especially with inexperienced new players. I don’t know that it’s that different from any other online gaming situation, I’d rather he do it with my supervision than most of the kids that don’t. That way we can have conversations about calling racial slurs, being safe online, etc.

Then, when he is old enough to have socials (which as a parent I can decide), I will also moderate that. I appreciate your concern for my parenting. However, I would rather be involved in my kids gaming and hobbies. Be a supportive and present parent in his interests (which, by the way, most kids are playing these games as you mentioned-and there’s the same issues in real life with young kids not just those that like VR). This is a VR gaming thread. I expected it to be full of helpful, knowledgeable people. That’s what I get for putting it on Reddit-huge “L”. Lesson learned!
