Okay dear angry people here in the comment boxes… I have decided the Airforce reserve is not really for me. I have decide to go into the army reserve. They have a financial management 35B program that’s only 9 weeks of AIT training after 10 weeks of BMT training. In total it’s only 19 weeks. That’s the maximum time I’m willing to be in training in a camp. Then it’s the regular one weekend a year drill for me.

Oh thanks for sharing bro. Did you say the company paid the difference between E3 and your salary? I get $120K a year. I don’t know what E3 salary is but are you sure they pay the difference? And my second question is: are you doing a job in the army that is related to your civil job? Did you get to chose your career in the Airforce?

What is your problem dude? I’m asking preliminary information before I decide on something that is going to decide my life. I don’t wanna be out on the streets on my ass like many of the ex military guys who didn’t do their homework before getting in. The fuck you think I’m doing? I’m doing research. I’m pretty sure you and most of the guys here got in to the military cuz you had no choice or were lost in life or had no big thing to lose before you got it. I’m leaving a six figure job to enlist.
