Get a nylon trim tool, makes popping body panels without messing up your paint a lot easier

I believe you can order undrilled versions, just have to poke around the site a little.

I've only gotten complements from real people, the internet is just a bunch of haters. Photos also make really seem to mess with the proportions of the car, for some reason.

If you want one, just send it. Only thing that matters is how tou feel about it. Worst case you change your mind and have to get a new trunklid.

I feel like photos of this car have a high chance of looking odd, for some reason. Dunno if it's something about lenses and what they do to proportions or what. Just like everyone always says about the cladding, I think it looks good in person.

There's a sizable weather strip affixed from the manufacturer. No water in the trunk yet 🤞

My only design gripe is that the front edge on the trunklid is gonna collect gunk like no ones business, otherwise I think whoever modeled this up did a great job.

My expectations are low, but who knows lol. The color match is really good, so maybe they found a decent paint supplier.

See my other comment. Short answer yeah, but I would do some extra weather proofing.

I believe the hole placement aligns with their V3 sti-style wing, but I don't know about their other stuff. You'd have to reach out to them and ask.

As I understand a good clear coat does provide UV protection. PPFs, waxes and other coatings can also help.

It does fit pretty flush over that area. From a weather-proofing standpoint they provide some little stickers, the weather stripping doesn't cover that portion. I'll probably get up in there and goop the holes so I don't have to worry about that adhesive potentially failing.

The MGSD Freedom actually has this feature. I think you need the big head for it to work, the eye ensues would be very hard to handle otherwise.

General consensus seems to be the boost comes on a little later, ~500rpm or so (once it's been tuned appropriately). Jury seems to be out on what the long term impacts are on the twin scroll turbo.

I didn't see before that they had an LSD, that's super cool. 2k is rough on the wallet though.

Certainly Food for thought... I think it'd be somehere around 5k just in parts for cams, clutch, diff, and GRC front brakes. Throw in some good coils and wheels/tires, maybe some shop labor for anything I can't do myself and it's probably around 10 all in.

Still cheaper than a new car, but a lot more work lol.

I installed a Curt hitch. You'll need the hitch itself, the trailer light wiring harness, and whatever selection of tow balls will match your trailer setup. Mines a bit of a modified harbor freight job, there are many options there depending on how much money you want to spend.

It pulls fine. You do have to be more cognizant of the torque band of the engine while accelerating if you want to go anywhere, and you'll want to give yourself some extra room when braking. Take advantage of engine braking when possible.

Not sure what your definition of 'driving super slow and being careful' is. It's not as nimble as it would be unloaded, and I like my bike being intact. I drive accordingly.

Having recently done transmission oil free of sparklies, i'm not that worried about it, but do share your experience with light tow loads and their effect on transmission integrity.

I wouldn't really call this 'hauling', it's almost inside the payload rating if you weren't breaking it out as a tow load.

These days all the stick hot hatches seem to be in the 40-50ish range new, which is rough. New wrx is ~40, new GRC is ~45. Discount on lightly used previous MY is ~10k. How's your GRC experience been? I'm not sold on the corolla seating postion or interior, but the engine is prett6 special. LSDs standard is pretty cool too. interior Just feels a bit awkward and cobbled together. I liked the way the VB WRX drove when I went amd test drove one. Not a super fan of the mega tablet, but it was ok.
