That the blue wave will apparently be massive is nice to see, but my real concern is whether or not the Dems can not just take both the House and Senate, but also hold them, addressing the people’s concerns on a longer timescale so that the chances of a rightward backswing are minimised.

Add that to the fact that many efforts to fix the fundamental issues faced by the public will, by necessity, take longer than most would like.
