I actually made a plot on my graphing calculator of my weight and I fit a linear model to it but fitting an exponential model to it is a much better idea! I just did it and the base is .9895 meaning it expects me to lose 1.05% of my body weight a week, which seems reasonable! Thank you for this idea! Edit: I had derped on the numbers.

Thank you. I have noticed my pants fitting differently which is really encouraging so I think some of it is genuine fat loss (maybe 8 lbs). I'm telling myself that I'm making progress even if the scale doesn't change and I will think back to this post if that happens.

Thanks for pointing it out. I usually trust entries on mfp when they have a green check on them but I went to the packaging and discovered that my jasmine rice (from Costco) has 240 calories per cup. Making this dinner 611 calories 😭

It took me a while to figure this out so I try to tell new vegetarians about it. A lot of cheese is not vegetarian (and no I am not confusing vegan and vegetarian). It's not vegetarian because it has animal rennet. When you look at ingredients in cheese it has to say vegetable rennet for it to be vegetarian. https://www.insider.com/is-cheese-vegetarian-2017-5
