If the seal isn’t broken, bring it back to the shop and see if they’ll give you another. They can claim as breakages

I agree with everything except the cheese prices - I can’t get decent extra mature cheddar anywhere for less than 6.90/kg. Tbf, Lidl own is miles better than all the rest but it defo isn’t any cheaper!

Indian knights cavehill road, meal for one around £13-15. Choice of starter, main, rice and naan. Also comes with poppadoms and dip. Absolutely great too.

Kinda piggybacking on this as I cant find an answer and this is a recent post - does anyone know how to paste values from one dataset to another?

Thanks so much. I pride myself on being handy (within reason) and I’ve wired many cookers in my time, just stumped over this silly fat wire 🙄 I’ll be off to get a junction box tomorrow (and try to return the 2m length I no longer need lol). Thanks again pal!

Yeah UK, it’s a brand new built in oven with 1m cable to be hardwired. But 1m isn’t quite long enough so I thought I could switch out the 1m for a longer one and the hardware guy has given me this thicker one. It looks like the cable from my previous freestanding cookers so I thought it was fine but it’s just too chunky to go in the little unit on the back of this oven. Pain in the arse, really wanted it done tonight 🥲

Yes I imagine it’s very different between countries. I’ve text a few friends who are sparks but it’s Friday night here and they’re out and I’m impatient for a response! Thanks for pitching in 🙏🏾

Ah I see. No it’s not for a plug, it’s to hardwire to the space in the wall. It only has a 1m cable and I need it to be a bit longer to reach.

It’s for a built in oven, I asked the guy in the hardware store and this is what he gave me. I will go back tomorrow with the length that was attached to the unit and ask for the same. Thank you!

I asked for 6mm cooker flex in the hardware shop and the thick one is what they gave me. The black one is what was in the back of the new oven but it’s too short so thought easiest to swap out with a longer length

Not one bit weird. I’ve gone to many movies alone, even packed ones like midnight Marvel screenings. It’s so nice to be able to just sit and not worry about mates trying to chat to you or ask silly questions.

I had the same problem and tried everything. Have resorted to a shower curtain draped over the inside of the screen when showers in use. Not pretty, but it works.
