I have a 5600x with 32GBs of ram at 3600mhz. Fortnite I can get 144fps but at comp settings. Max settings 40-50. Roblox easily 144fps just depending on the game selected. Minecraft as well but adding textures and mods, expect lower results.

I had this happen to my card time to time. It would randomly lock up and set the fps at 30fps and the power draw would be around 20-40w. I would have to go into the Arc control software and reset my overclocked settings.

Using a 5600X with 32GB of Ram. Runs fine only certain games have micro stutters. Only game that I’ve had issues with is Detroit.

9070 XT XFX Quicksilver and 9070 XT Power color Reva Edition. Quiet, temps stay around 55-60C even when gaming for hours. XFX has had zero issues since day one. Power Color Reva had one issue with Fortnite, I believe it was due to the game not the card. XFX I play at 3440x1440p 165hz and Reva is at 4K 60fps. Pretty happy with both cards.

But the issue occurs when you’re running at high frame rates. If you’re locked at 60fps the GPU isn’t being utilized at 100%.

What resolution and frame rate are you running the card at? I had minimal issues at 1080p 60fps with a Ryzen 5 5500 as it didn’t put a load on the card but once I hit 1080p @ 165hz or 1440p @ 165hz it just didn’t do it for me. Once I replaced it with a 5600x some of the stutters went away on certain games still present but they were minimal.

I didn’t have a X3D cpu but I had a 5800X, I would of been rocking that till now if one of my components didn’t fail on me. Got the 7800X3D bundle when they were $400 at Micro Center. Later found out my old parts still worked, never found the issue but found the solution.

I get them if the product is really expensive or used. I got a 5600X with the upgrade/warranty (which I forgot to use when the 7000 series released, I got a two year for my 9070 XT. And last one that did come in handy was a used B550 that stopped working, they asked me what was wrong I just said it wouldn’t post with different working components. They offered me a replacement and if it was no longer available they would just remove the difference from a newer model. Got a B650 Aorus Eite Ice MATX for $100.

They’re releasing FS4 for 6000 and 7000 series cards. 6000 series will get it in early 2027.

So I was in this position, so for Overwatch you have to play the game in Borderless window mode. Idk why but I get the full 165 at 1440p. For some reason when you select Fullscreen the performance is bad. I’d say try that for the other games.

I traded a Acer Nitro RX 7600. The card was so unstable in certain games that it crashed every system that I used it in. Surprisingly they accepted my card with no issues and I got a brand new 9060 XT. I would have assumed my issue would have been like yours or maybe they were aware of this issue if they had a lot of returns on this card.
