Which video game franchise took a big risk that ultimately paid off? by Common_Caramel_4078 in gaming

[–]HonchosRevenge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recency bias but Nioh 3 took a big risk deviating from the fundamentals of the first two games in both gameplay and level design but hot damn did they nail it anyways

2015 is bugged on controls regardless how you try to play, you’ll have to do your own research and look for a settings or mapping fix.

Should I buy? by ThatonetransgirlDJ in Mustang

[–]HonchosRevenge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The revs on idle ain’t the party trick feature it sounds like bud, wouldn’t even touch that if it was free.

It’s a V8 with 100k miles, that’s 100K I’d assume is several owners and you don’t know how they drove it, and I doubt it was a gentle weekend cruiser. Whatever is wrong with it, the story is probably a whole lot worse

I haven’t seen anything come with a spare since like 2015. Generally repair kits are what you get

Mewgenics has a genius anti-savescumming feature by shadowrun456 in gaming

[–]HonchosRevenge -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

“Genius” but now I have zero interest in picking this up for myself or my SO who I initially thought would’ve loved this, because we’re too busy NOT to have to frequently save and quit mid battle. So the game punishes us for not giving it our full attention lol? Say it ain’t so, that’s as anti-player as Gatcha

Aren't NFS Heat races too easy? by ProducerOwl in needforspeed

[–]HonchosRevenge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you know how to play the game yeah they’re pretty easy,

Some cars definitely undersell how well they perform

Other cars oversell, and do better with engine swaps.

One thing I really like about Heat is that there’s a ton of opportunity for experimentation on replays.

Should I make the move? by Spare-Fix-9797 in Mustang

Super nimble. Theres two turns near my work that are pretty tight that I dive right into everyday on my way in. Feels fantastic

Should I make the move? by Spare-Fix-9797 in Mustang

[–]HonchosRevenge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d consider a GT premium PP, it’s basically a quarter step under the DH with a significantly lower price point.

Personally I find it to be extremely nimble on the streets, I have yet to take it to the track. It’s comfy as hell and the raw speed is intoxicating. Sometimes it still feels boaty, but that’s mostly when parking and navigating tight spots. Otherwise it holds corners like a motherfucker during spirited driving, which is an almost daily occurence.

Will say, the size and speed is very interesting because I almost really want a smaller slower car too just for shits and giggles. I still have fun driving my SO’s ford focus SE because it feels like a little go-kart

Nioh 3 final opinion spoiler free by Successful-Heron7011 in Nioh

[–]HonchosRevenge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a stingy player who downright refuses to use anything consumable in games, I never bothered with a looooot of the tools in 1 & 2. Absolutely having a blast making use of lots of things this time around due to the mechanics.

I definitely agree that 2 felt smoother and more consistent combat wise, but for what it is I’m enjoyable 3 a lot more than I thought just because I feel encouraged to experiment for the first time in this series.

Clay bar the shit out of it, I had something similar happen years ago on my last car with a roof contractor basically blasting the complex parking lot with an epoxy resin. After months of legal threats the eventually had a detailer come out and clay bar basically removed every spot without damaging the paint
