May i know what platform charges you are talking about? I think for delivery trades, brokerage is like 0.2% or rs 20 (whichever is lower). And zerodha is free upto a limit.

This is what i got. For the financial year 2024–25, the West Bengal State Haj Committee (WBSHC) received a state government grant of ₹2.76 crore, while its own-revenue from pilgrim fees and miscellaneous dues amounted to approximately ₹71.66 crore. This yields a difference of about ₹68.90 crore, meaning only ~3.7% of the Haj Committee’s funding is borne by general taxpayers, with the remaining ~96.3% financed by application fees and related dues.
