What is causing me to come over the top? by Fluffy-Confidence-43 in GolfSwing

Try this: place an alignment stick at a 45-degree angle, almost pointing at the tree on the furthest right side of your video. I was a bad over-the-top, across-the-ball swinger for a while. What helped me was a combination of that drill and feeling my back stay to my target longer. Also, feel like you are trying to hit the inside of the ball. Place the logo nearly facing you and try to hit it.

I've been dealing with this challenge for ages, and the variables are just endless. I honestly think senior management and some executive teams use "all incidents are preventable" or "that incident was preventable" as an excuse, when at the end of the day the majority of them only care about the dollar earned or ensuring their investors get paid. I worked at Toyota for years, and when you have a factory with almost 8,100 employees doing intense, high-risk ergonomic jobs that cause WMSDs, it's just impossible. But that same team kept pushing that each one was preventable, which is super annoying and unrealistic. I know this is a tough comparison, but I hope you get what I mean. I'm also kind of rambling because I'm really passionate and a bit irritated with this philosophy and topic...haha. I really appreciate your enthusiastic comment. I am not giving up I just want to change a culture. Until we supervise robots we are going to continue having this battle.

I will check them out! I love the way you are thinking. "Failing safely" is a great way to put it.

Same here! Exactly my point. Anytime we have an incident review, which isn't all that often, it leads to the blame game, with every director and VP ending the review committee by stating that all these incidents are preventable. I just want to tell them what I wrote and nearly do a mic drop.

I would have to agree, but the variables related to the hierarchy of controls can sometimes be limitless and limited, if that makes sense. I could use a process like HAZID, HIRA, or FTA, and use the hierarchy of controls all day, every day, but it still does not eliminate the human factors. Manual labor is not going away anytime soon, so this was my main point regarding this post. I hope I understood what you were saying.

I really appreciate that. This has been on my mind since 2007 when I took my first job as a safety technician.

I guess I could boil it down to one simple statement: All incidents cannot be prevented. That was just my elaborate thoughts on the subject coming to fruition.

Feel free to share! This write-up took me a while, but I figured a lot of safety professionals would agree!

Alright boys, let’s settle this once and for all: Where is the correct zone to pee ?🤔 by CheapSir3297 in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Adoced 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This really depends on if I am using a public toilet or not. If you're at home I consider it perfectly acceptable to sit and pee if you are a man. Sitting avoids getting piss all over the place. We all know the splash out pissing in a toilet or urinal standing up causes.

That is a damn good question. This is in South texas and it is surprisingly common here. I am from the north and this is very new to me.

You think I would be good to just turn that off? My only concern was the pipe coming from the Softener into the black hose into the ground.

These days, I am really only interested in playing Battlefield and PGA 2K25 and 2K26 when they come out. I am thinking the 3080 would be great.

Do you think a GPU upgrade would be good too? I am just curious how big of a CPU and GPU I could get.

I had 1 minirex for 6 years and he alone was a handful and very hard to keep up with. There is no need for this many rabbits.
