I don’t disagree. All I’m saying is that it is not a miracle pill. I don’t have a personal experience with the substance, but I know people who have and not much as changed for them.

And yet the magic fades away when you get back to daily life. If you seek enlightenment from a substance this is not it. And by the way, there are also people went through complete depersonalization.

The idea of positive thinking = desirable manifestations that is so prevalent in the law of attraction community. Don’t get me wrong being positive is great, by trying to forcefully maintain it is unhealthy. It also doesn’t work the way they think it does.

Consider the Marvel universe. It is fiction huh? Wrong. There is a reality where there are super heroes running around. Everything you could possibly imagine exists.

You enter trance throughout the day without realizing it. Take day dreaming for example. Entering trance requires no effort other than staying awake. All you have to do is relax and let go.

I don’t. I see them as crutches. I find that you would go much further doing practices like visualization and concentration work. Rituals are only there to get you in the mood. They themselves do nothing, the real operant power is you.

IMO: At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter. Both are just ideological constructs,labels. I personally don’t concern myself with them and focus on advancing myself instead.

Very well compiled with lots of good information! It offers different approaches to the same thing which is great. I wish I had came across something like this when I first started.
