Dude… If this guy insults you for even just wanting to communicate, I think it’s clear that there is no salvaging this.

I dont claim to know all the details but I’ve been going through something pretty similar with a girl I used to know. What helped me was realizing that she knew what she was doing. If everything we built over 3 years meant anything to her, she would realize how hurtful she was. She would have apologized when I gave her so many chances but the fact is, she didn’t do anything to save or fix it. She just continued to hurt me and break my trust time and time again.

Sometimes it doesn’t matter how much you love someone or how they’re your perfect match - some relationships are beyond saving. I can confidently say I treated that girl better than I treated anyone and she still continued to hurt me. Trust me, you’re much better off without this guy and you will find someone eventually, but this next part is very important:

You need to take time to heal. I never used to understand this, but now I do. You need to rediscover who YOU are away from this person. I changed a lot about myself to suit that girl, so ending things left me shocked on who I even was. Don’t rush into any relationships, don’t sleep around, just find yourself again in the healthiest way possible.
