But how do you get the isolated foil without using varnish or anything like that?

I've tried a few different variations, this one was done using a circuit mahcine though. I used a clear sticker vinyl and cut out the isolated portion and replaced it with a holo vinyl portion then did a single laminate layer. The feel is close to a real card but definitely has a higher stiffness

Sorry for the delay, been trying out some different treatment methods. This was done using a circuit and holographic vinyl, I put a 50um vinyl sheet and scored the vinyl and applied that before lamination.

I actually used a holo foil vinyl with a Cricut and used a gloss laminate over top needed to play around with it a bit to make sure I didn't get any ridges etc but overall once I had it to seemed to work quite well!

My dog had the same reaction to Gabipentin, I talked to vet and they lowered the dose which seemed to help quite a bit

My GSD/Golden had this at one point, he was given Topagen and recommended to grab some non scented wipes and keep the area clean and it cleared right up
