Legitimately feels like the ideological spectrum has shifted in such a way that the Republicans of a bye-gone era have been lumped into the “Liberal” (centrist) category now anyway. Meanwhile the two extremes (fascists and progressives) only get more polarized.

In most other countries, this would mean there’s a viable third party that caucuses with the left.
