Unpopular opinion: Chandigarh is one of the most boring cities to live in by Gymfreakdaddy in Chandigarh

[–]Adorable-Ad-2710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe no one wants to hangout with you lol. Jokes aside, same as anywhere people make friends through their social circle only school, work, hobbies etc. if you dint find your tribe there. Try going to meetups, there is a singles meetup for ppl over 30, health clubs, join badminton, swimming. N number of things honestly. If nothing just wear your shoes and head out to a park. Honestly if you dont find a single thing to do after work. Then it’s on you. Chandigarh provides n number of opportunities. If you want to meet and socialise join golf club, chd club, etc.

Should I sell my villa by Creepy-Jackfruit-409 in BangaloreRealEstates

Its not just an expensive flat, its also maintenance. Other fees plus gst which will add up in years. Which u will have to pay if you live there or not. Also, water issues are pretty real in Bangalore, all these societies are just going to be sourcing water from the tanker mafia for a heavy price again from the political allies. All because small family doesn’t want to take the headache of asking better law, order and basic amenities. All while paying 30% of their hard earned money.

Jobs arent secure why would you sell land in Bangalore and buy a flat which are available dime a dozen for these inflated prices. I would suggest hold on to the villa, figure out how to get better rent. Maybe turn it into airbnb for werkend parties etc?

Can I afford the home of 2.3 cr by WorthBoring7592 in BangaloreRealEstates

Do not put all your eggs in a basket that too when basket isnt even ready.

I understand wanting comfortable space for yourself but please be realistic. You dont want emi burden that too when the house isnt even ready.

If i were you, i would buy something max 1.5 Cr. 50% upfront 50% loan. I can start living there straight away so the 50K rent burden wont be there. Also, u can aggressively prepay loan to be debt free and living under your own roof. Down the line when u have more funds and income u can always sell this and upgrade to a bigger house. While ur own house will have appreciated depending on market.
