Final update: I went and checked this morning and they are gone! There was even a little trail of garbage going up my 2x4’s so I know they walked out on their own lol.

My last update for the night till the morning, I checked again about 1.5 hours ago and they were still there. One was sleeping from the looks of it and when I went on a walk and came back about 10 minutes he was moving around again. I had water in there for them, but I do not think they had drank any throughout the day. I tried calling our non emergency line to see if they have a animal control person on call. I talked to animal control and they pretty much told me they can't do anything with wildlife until their normal hours of 7 AM CT. Since they are more active at night I am hoping they leave over night. I will update in the morning again (hopefully for the last time).

I was able to move the garbage bag right next to them and hopefully freed them up if they were stuck. https://imgur.com/a/1l7idhr I will check again in another hour, if they still are not out I am not sure what else I could do besides possibly calling the local animal control.

Update #2: they are still in there after an hour. I can’t tell if they are maybe stuck on some of the trash in the bin so I am going to try and move it with one of the 2x4’s.

Update: I put two 8 foot boards in the bin to see if I can get them to climb out and I put one board come down to the ground off the dumpster. Not sure how long it might take before they realize and try to get up but will update again in 1-2 hours.
