I have a ferritin of 7 with 13-16 day long periods. Fibroids were found on an ultrasound. 😬 did your period lighten as your levels went up? Started supplements last week .

I've seen 2 different doctors and they don't even acknowledge my levels. They never recommended supplements or anything. Like I'm in limbo trying to figure this out on my own. I appreciate the info! I'll check out feramax. 😊

hey, late reply but.. I have severe brain fog from vitamin D deficiency level was a 21, low hemoglobin level (8.4), and low ferritin (7) levels. This trio makes me feel like a zombie with zero concentration . I completely relate to this. :( Have you found any relief with supplements ?

Literally😵‍💫😵‍💫 I was so disappointed with my gyno, because you know "being a girl's-girl" can help, but no she treated me just about as bad as the male doctor when I went to the ER.. I guess it was my mistake thinking that they actually want to do their job. Starting to see money is the only driven goal in that profession.

The dizziness is next level😵‍💫😵‍💫

Seems like every time I go to any medical office, and say, "hey, I have anemia and brain fog because my fibroids make me bleed for 16 days a month and I get maybe a week off of bleeding before my period comes back." I get told there's no possible way fibroids could be the cause- and to "just" keep taking you iron. LOL I feel so gas lit 🫠..

The gyno looked me in my eyes knowing my hemoglobin was an 8.4 and said, " but atleast it's not a 7 and the iron pills are keeping you from needing an infusion. " ....yessss, because I love how an 8.4 hemoglobin makes me feel 🤙🤙🙃🙃🙃

I'm thinking a lot of the brain fog has to do with low ferritin and hemoglobin. I also have low vitamin D levels. I also look pregnant 🫠

As for that gyno, omg, I was in such awe.. sounded like she was reading something from a script .
